Who is a Vaidya?
Vaidya is a Sanskrit term meaning “traditional Ayurvedic physician.” A Vaidya is trained in the science of Ayurveda and understands the art of life in its wholeness. Their role goes beyond treating illness. A true Vaidya works to prevent disease by restoring balance in the body before symptoms appear.

People often consult a Vaidya to support health, strengthen immunity, and detoxify the body — putting the true meaning of prevention into practice.
A Vaidya embodies four essential qualities: deep theoretical knowledge, extensive practical experience, skilled application, and purity of both body and mind.
In founding Ayurope, our goal was to provide a convenient and reliable way for the wisdom of Ayurvedic medicine to reach Europe, and help the people of this continent maintain and regain their health and vitality. In this endeavour, we rely not only on the expertise of one Vaidya, but also on the wisdom passed down through generations before him.
Vaidya Tripathi Family

Vaidya Adwait Tripathi
Adwait Tripathi studied at Maharishi Vidya Mandir, where he learned yoga, meditation and Vedic sciences, before earning his Ayurvedic degree at a government-recognised institution in Muzaffarpur. He specialises in darshan parikshan (remote diagnosis), pulse reading, Panchakarma, and treatments supported by personalised diet, yoga, and Vedic yagyas.
In addition to his clinical work, Adwait writes about Ayurveda, drawing from his deep familial tradition and mentorship under his father and Dr. Triguna. He leads his own clinic, Arogya Sadanam, in Noida and regularly travels throughout Europe to offer consultations. He also heads Yagya Anusthan, a group of Vedic pandits that, together with his Ayurvedic team, forms the Vedic Cure Team. His guiding principle: “Love all, serve all, care for all.”

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and the Tripathi Family
In the late 1970s, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the founder of the Transcendental Meditation movement, began collaborating with leading Ayurvedic scholars to restore and systematise Ayurveda in its full depth. This revival became known as Maharishi Ayurveda.
In the 1980s, the yogi personally invited Adwait’s grandfather to serve as a senior vaidya in Noida, where he managed the preparation of Ayurvedic medicines. Maharishi Ji also entrusted Adwait’s father with overseeing international trainings and clinics. Adwait spent his early years under Maharishi Ji’s guidance and received his yagyopavit (sacred thread) blessing from him in 1987.

Vaidya Achyut Kumar Tripathi
Adwait’s father, is one of a select group of 15 Vaidyas in India recognised for having dedicated their lives to the service of Ayurveda. He is a governing body member of the Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (RAV), an esteemed institution under the Ministry of AYUSH.
He holds the title of Ayurvedacharya and is a Fellow of the National Academy of Ayurveda. he is known for his commitment to high-quality care, advanced treatments, and classical Ayurvedic surgeries. Through his clinic in Aghapur, Noida, he continues to uphold the values of compassionate, holistic healing, earning the trust of patients and recognition as one of the region’s leading Ayurvedic practitioners.

Pandit Rudrapratap Sharma
Adwait’s grandfather, was a highly respected Vaidya and Jyotishi, known not only for his healing knowledge but also for his dedication to social upliftment. He founded several schools in remote rural areas and worked tirelessly to make education and healthcare more accessible.
In the 1970s, he established his own recognised Ayurveda college and successfully led a school with over 1,200 students. He also donated land and resources to the Indian government to help found Akhand Vidyalaya, which today stands as the leading school in Kabrai (Mahoba district).

Pandit Lallu Lal Sharma
The Tripathi family belongs to a respected Brahmin lineage and carries a long tradition of Ayurvedic doctors. Pandit Lallu Lal Sharma — the great-grandfather of Adwait — was both a Vaidya (traditional Ayurvedic physician) and a Jyotishi (Vedic astrologer), serving during the time of the Bundela Empire.
He was honoured with the title of Rajya Jyotishi and Rajya Vaidya — royal astrologer and physician — a recognition of his deep knowledge and service at the royal court. For his family, Ayurveda and Jyotish have long been more than practices; they are a living heritage passed down through generations.
